"Mi obra no descansa en un solo tema o en una sola técnica familiar. Todas mis obras comparten un ideal estético, con un fuerte enfoque en el proceso y la materialidad. Mis pinturas se ven engañosamente abstractas desde lejos, pero tras una inspección más cercana, se percibe una extrema atención al detalle y la inspiración que proviene de la existencia concreta en la naturaleza. A pesar de que cada proyecto mío experimenta con un tema diferente, comparten una sensación similar -la relación inconsolable entre el orden y el caos. Los patrones aleatorios en contraste con los arreglos altamente controlados en mis pinturas hacen eco del caos de la naturaleza y del orden de la mente humana, mientras exploro una forma de hacer estas cualidades coexistir armoniosamente".

"My art practice does not rest on one single theme or rely on one familiar technique. However, all my works share a common aesthetic ideal, with a strong focus on process and materiality. My paintings look deceptively abstract from afar, but with closer scrutiny, one notices the extreme attentiveness to details, and the inspiration from concrete existence in nature. Although each project of mine experiments with a different theme, they share a similar sensation -the inconsolable relationship between order and chaos. The random patterns in contrast with the highly controlled arrangements in my paintings, echo the chaos of nature and the orderliness of the human mind, whilst I explore a way to make these two qualities harmoniously coexist".
